Balinese Painting. October 2023, another auction win at my favorite auction house.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This one measures 97cm x 80cm. Fully framed in wooden frame. The painting appears to be on fabric which has been glued? down on board. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The auction listing was for a “forest print” on textile, but clearly this is a beautiful Balinese painting.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The detail is just exquisite as are many of these Ubud paintings.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The whole thing has a bit of a buckle. Again, this is a vintage piece pre 1996 as the sticker of the framers indicates the phone numbers in Melbourne before the extra number digit change. <\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n
