1957 Free arm with inbuilt decorative stitches.
It is now January 2026 and I have finally looked at this machine.
I saw this machine advertised on Facebook Marketplace out in country Victoria. Advertised for $20. It was located in the same town as one of my kids, so I asked him to collect it for me. That was March 2025. Finally in December 2025 the machine arrived at my house, after being forgotten about.
I already have a Bernina 730, which was the upgrade to this machine and it is in perfect working condition. I had no intention of adding a 530, but if one falls in my lap, I won’t say no. The machine needs major cleaning, but came with case and many accessories.
