August 2025…I just love my red Husqvarna 2000, 6460 machine. I use it all the time, in fact I even purchased a second identical machine from Mike and the mechanicals in Hawthorn that already he had already replaced the cracked cam gear. So why would I want another machine with a cracked cam gear, I hear you ask? Well it was only $20 and not far from me.
So this machine has a cracked cam (of course) but it also looks in wonderful aesthetic condition. It came with case, pedal, table and accessory box, but nil accessories. Thats o.k as these can easily be purchased. I do not intend to get this machine up and running at this stage. I got it because it was cheap and was sitting on FB marketplace for a few weeks. I have wanted one in the brown colour for some time. I believe it is heavier than the later red 6460 as these 6440s are made from cast iron, but honestly they all feel like heavy machines to me.
