Singer 319K
EM644040 manufactured 1957
Before I acquired my 320k machine, I had already collected a few 319k machines. Just like the 320k the 319k also came in the pale green colour. Unlike the 320k that only came in green, the 319k can also be found in black, with gold decals.
Both machines can use cams, the 319k is flat bed and the 320k is freearm and is much harder to find.

The 319k and 320k are the Rolls Royce of the Swing Needle Sewing Machines group, which consists of models 206, 306, 319, and 320
For more information on the needles these machines take and more about the Swing Needle class please have a look at my Singer 320K page.
The machine below was found in a second hand stall locally for $40 in June 2023, it came in this lovely trapezoid case along with a full set of its cams and accessories. Once again it is an example of a machine that has been protected from the elements by its case. Machines found in cabinets tend not to fair as well.
